2022 Spring Equestrian Show: Southern Canterbury A&P Showgrounds, Waimate, 8am. The South Island’s premier equestrian competition.

North Otago Tramping and Mountaineering Club Staircase Hut Circuit: Depart Medway St car park, 8am. A circuit in the Waianakarua Reserve, climbing up Staircase Ridge from the middle branch of the river, staying the night in the Staircase Hut and returning via Tabletop. Could be done as a day trip if wished. Grading: medium. Contact: Robbie, 021 044-9437.
