Board’s tree extravaganza back again

The scene in the Rawhiti Masonic Lodge in December last year was magical with the main lights off and the 21 Christmas trees beautifully lit and even more amazing when the full lights came on to reveal the great creativity used to decorate them

The display will be at the same venue — the Rawhiti Lodge — which was ideal to host the trees with its space and decorum last year. The event is running this year from December 11-24.

Dannevirke Community Board chairman Pat Walshe, who dreamed up the idea of a Christmas Tree Extravaganza, was delighted with the way businesses and organisations responded in 2020 and he hopes for the same in 2021.
