Te Puke started off quite slowly, allowing the away team to play the ball around and create some good chances

As they started to settle, they turned the game around with attack after attack, which finally paid off after Jindrich Hahn slotted home a free kick before the half ended.

In the second half, Te Puke dominated for a good period with Ethan Ramsey doubling the lead with another well-taken free kick.

Ōtūmoetai got back into the game and capitalised by scoring from a corner.

More late surges threatened the backline, but Te Puke held on for all three points.
