Wednesday WalkersJohn Betjeman the poet, said that a walk through a townscape is as rewarding as moving through the countryside. Perhaps this is so, it is true that a hike through residential areas with interesting companions is entertaining.

Last week began from the Two Mile Bay boat ramp and carried on out of town through Rainbow Point, Wharewaka and on to Five Mile Bay.
