Competition decides the Top School

Principal Bruce Lendrem says the day of competition was “fantastic” and “enjoyed by all”

“A magnificent crowd of over 1100 supporters and competitors spent the whole day in the sun,” he says.

There were 17 teams from the Te Puke district and five from Papamoa competing for the Top School title.

“Paengaroa School parents, pupils, staff and community members wish to thank all schools, their families and friends for the wonderful support of our annual event.

“Our sponsors were amazing this year, resulting in a fantastic day for all. A special thank you goes to the Maketū Fire Brigade for their contribution to the smooth running of the day and also to Te Puke Gym Sport for judging the cheerleading.
