Darts teams decide grade winners

Five rounds of the season were lost due to lockdown but that still left 20 rounds which could be played with the semifinals on September 23 at three venues to meet level 2 restrictions and finals concluding on Saturday in compliance with police instruction.

In the A grade, Clash Kings were defending their title for the third consecutive time and this year against the same opponents Pointers as 2020. It was a battle with the games locked at 4-4 before the defending champions pulled away to win 8-4.

Spear Chukkas were up against Gladiators and won in the early game proving spears are a more effective weapon than swords.

The C grade battle between Heckamarz and Classics reached 5-5 the latter staging strong resistance to claw its way back from 5-1 but Heckamarz prevailed 8-5.
