Enjoyment to be had out on water

There was another misleading weather report. No rain, no wind and flat calm. Two yachts, Invincible and Caribbean faced the gun at 11.35. The course was around Motuhoa Island, wind was WNW and very light. Tide was 1.7m high at 15.21

It was a spinnaker start with both colourful kites up. Invincible got a flyer with a clean hull and apart from Skipper Richard an all-girl crew. Caribbean with all males found every wind shadow out and slowly followed to Rangiwae where we saw the Tauranga fleet drifting up harbour.
