GM of new hotel ‘‘optimistic’’

Developed and owned by QLong Investments Ltd, and operated by IHG Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park has created over 100 jobs during the two-year construction phase and will provide over 50 employment opportunities for locals.

Once open, Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park will be the fourth Holiday Inn hotel in New Zealand — and the first new-build Holiday Inn in NZ in a decade — complementing the three existing IHG hotels in Queenstown.

Its general manager, Mathew Simister, says the hotel is on track for its December opening.
