The three are poised to celebrate with thousands of others in this week’s graduation ceremonies and parades.
Of Ngāi Tahu, Ngā Ruahine, Swiss, Scottish and Irish descent, Wright (Bachelor of Arts, Māori, Honours) staircased from a level 2 certificate to his Bachelor of Arts (Māori) Honours.
He’s now studying towards a Master in Professional Practice at EIT, delving into research of Māori language revitalisation.
