Local History Week

Local History Week continues until Sunday. The David Warnock Medical Museum is open tomorrow afternoon, November 5, 2-4.30pm. A large collection of medical instruments and equipment are on display in the museum. Enter via Heretaunga St gates and bring a gold coin donation. Caccia Birch House is having an open afternoon on Sunday from 12- 4pm. As well as exploring the house built in 1895, you can visit the Coach House that contains an archive explaining the history of the homestead from pre-European times to today.
