This article proposes use of a heritage building for the cities art collection.

Art was removed from a heritage building Anderson House, over eight years ago, because of atmospheric conditions, and its suitability to house art.

In the intervening 8 years ICC, has spent around $1 million on remodelling and temperature controlling the current building (corner Don & Kelvin Sts. Not owned by ICC.) and a sizeable annual lease fee, including a $400.00 per annum running cost.

During this time, and in addition to this large financial outlay, a consultant was engaged who proposed a gallery be established in the ICC buildings behind Wachner place.

Recent news of the museum rebuild, has excluded the inclusion of an art Gallery.
