New route for Rankleburn Rally

The event is part of the Eastern Southland Car Club’s rally championship and will comprise four special stages totalling about 80km.

This year’s rally will follow a new route including special stage 3, Sharps Rd, which links to Landsend and John O’Groats Rds, a route not used since the 2008 Gore Rally.

The event will be based at Telford Tops Rd and will be signposted from State Highway1.

Servicing will take place there throughout the day.

Prizegiving will be held at the Croydon Hotel on the main Queenstown Highway, where bistro meals will be available after the event.
