There was a show and tell of crafts, question time where assistance is needed and someone may be able to help, and shop sales of wool, lavender and knitting accessories.

There were also demonstrations like Alex Robinson, a master weaver from Inangahua Junction, who brought in one of her looms, Kerrie Eder of Reefton with her decoupage, Simone Linder with her felting, and Heather Walker with her floral crafts.

"Heather Walker crocheted blankets for Reefton Hospital's Ziman House, but as it's now closed, her blankets will be donated to Greymouth Hospital who will give them to the Cancer Society," Barb Kennedy, the president of the Reefton Craft Group said.

Lots of locals turned up to browse, buy and learn, and many left with arms full of all things craft.
