Resolution for Disallowance of Provisions in Professional Examinations in Law Regulations 2008

Preamble

Pursuant to section 120(2) of the Legislation Act 2019,—

1. the Clerk of the House of Representatives lodges with the PCO a copy of a resolution that disallows specified provisions of secondary legislation; and

2. the PCO publishes the copy as if it had been drafted by the PCO, under section 69(3) of that Act.

Resolved, That this House disallow the following provisions of the Professional Examinations in Law Regulations 2008:

1. regulation 1(3), definition of

Tikanga Māori Requirements, paragraph (a); and

2. regulation 3(1)(a)(ii).
