Originally from Dunfermline in Scotland, Siobhan spent time travelling around Australia as a backpacker enjoying the taste of Aussie farming, which included hands-on experience operating farm machinery

After finishing off her rural visa requirements, she was working in a country pub when she was approached by a John Deere dealership manager who, after chatting with her, knew she was the right fit for a precision agricultural role.

With qualifications in Geographic Information Systems from her geography degree, she found the offer piqued her interest, and she took it up, boots, and all.

She has rapidly climbed the ranks of the heavy machinery sector, from her start at a John Deere dealership in Western Australia to overseeing 28 Brandt agricultural branches across Australia and New Zealand as Brandt’s integrated solutions manager.

Now a fully fledged Australian, based in Melbourne, Lynch will be speaking daily on-site at the Fieldays in Hamilton and her team will be available to talk through connected and precision technologies with customers throughout the day.
