Skeletons come out of the closet

She felt her first endeavour last year was so successful and rewarding she had to do it again, just so kids and adults could dress up and be someone different for a few hours.

She began planning and building her Halloween experience six weeks ago in the unused part of her garage and evicted the car belatedly to complete the finishing touches.

Helped by appropriately dressed volunteer crew, it was a spooky place but not too spooky in the early evening when the children came and they seemed to be thoroughly entertained. Part of it was them dressing up helped by mum and dad — a good bonding experience in itself.

Numbers were steady in the junior time, allowing all the correct COVID protocols to be applied.
