Slow down on rural road

Michael Mehalski is upset at the number of ducks, and now ducklings, that have been squashed outside his gate, and along other parts of the road

He says ducklings are appearing early, and stand no chance as vehicles speed along the rural road.

His dog has also been hit, and he believes it will only be a matter of time before something more serious happens.

The particular stretch of road he is concerned about is 100kph, but it follows an 80kph section including where the road turns off to the Loburn School and Ashley Gorge, and is a long straight with good visibility.
