Space ranger Buzz is back with a cute feline sidekick

To infinity and beyond

In the 1995 movie, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, space ranger was one of the toys Andy Davis received for his birthday.

Now a movie about the space ranger, Lightyear, has been released.

A younger Buzz and a Star Command team are flying throughout the galaxy exploring it.

His friend Alisha Hawthorne is the commander of the team.

The group land on a planet and fairly soon run into trouble.

As they attempt to escape, Buzz damages the spacecraft and the group are marooned there.

Being very clever, they get to work to fix the spaceship and find the right fuel mix to enable the spacecraft to leave.

As is often the way, it takes a little longer than expected.

Each time Buzz leaves on a four-minute test flight to test a new batch of fuel, everyone else back on the planet ages four years.

In the time frame of the movie Alisha has a baby with her wife.

That child grows up to have a child who is a young woman by the time Buzz, with the help of his robot cat Sox, finally gets the fuel mixture right.

It sounds a little confusing but it’s not when you are watching it.
