There was a great turnout on Sunday with 20 couples contesting the Peter Jury Trophy with the course singing with kids and laughter

Cousins Lizzy Coplestone and Oscar Lourie were the winners and grinners on the day. The late Peter Jury would have been so proud to see so many of his family participating and supporting this day.

Many thanks to Rocky for doing the greens and to Linley Jury for her very kind contribution to the bar. The club Shoot Out was played on Sunday with the loyal and hardy enjoying one of the best days of the golfing calendar.

There was some very good golf played but the last two men standing on the 18th were Marc Cossey and Sam Lourie with Marc sinking the vital putt to take out the Smillie Trophy.

Marc, Sam, Loop, Pip and Bloss all got balls for the morning round.

The Eastern Districts Rural Services tournament is on May 21. Entries to Dan Murphy, 067625576 if keen. If you are not duck shooting next Sunday come and shoot some golf balls. There will be a haggle going on. The next round of club champs will be on May 14.
