T-shirts used as canvas for youth designs

Facilitated by Youthline Southland in conjunction with the Invercargill City Council, the Leading the Pack t-shirt event took place over three days in Bluff and Invercargill last week

Leading the Pack was an online brief to be interpreted by the designers and four designs, created by young people aged from 12 to 22 years, were heat-pressed on to a range of coloured t-shirts and given away for free.

Youthline Southland community activator Krista Farley said the event was called Leading the Pack in reference to Southland’s efforts in leading the way in mental health and well-being initiatives for young people.
