Eat.Taste.Central is a month-long event planned to offer your palate a taste explosion of the region’s best food and beverages

Local cafes, restaurants and cellar doors collectively produce a Central Otago Regional Menu and a range of events and experiences are planned to help you celebrate the tastes of the province.

From vine to wine glass, paddock or pasture to plate, the annual Food, Wine & Beverage celebration is a confluence of cuisine, culture, climate and landscapes.

Take the time to slow down and explore the range of cafes, cellar doors, country hotels and restaurants that have combined local and regionally sourced ingredients to celebrate a world of flavour.

Gain an appreciation for the committed farmers, horticulturists, viticulturists and winemakers who ensure their practices enrich our landscapes and reflect our story of place. Learn how lessons that have been passed through generations continue and evolve, inspired by both traditions and seasonality.
