Vaccination stations well supported

The mobile vaccine clinic in Palmerston was an initiative prompted by Waitaki Youth Council.

Youth councillors helped the Waitaki District Council co-ordinate the Te Kaika vaccination bus visit and volunteered at the clinic on Saturday. Ninety-four people took the opportunity to be vaccinated on board, many of whom were receiving their first dose.

‘‘The result was so awesome to see,’’ youth council chairman Ethan Reille said.
