Waimangaroa water supply upgrade begins

Manager infrastructure delivery Eric de Boer says: "Tru-line Civil Ltd has been contracted for this upgrade and made steady progress since arriving on site. The replacement is expected to take 12 weeks to complete." The Conns Creek main water pipe was impacted by several breakages leading to water outages in Waimangaroa. This was mainly due to age and condition of the pipe

"We know people in Waimangaroa have eagerly been waiting for this upgrade and we are pleased to see the work finally kicking off." Tru-Line Civil Ltd will replace the main water pipe up to the road slip during the coming 12 weeks. Once the Department of Conservation has repaired the slip the new pipe will be extended beyond this point.
