In fact, I would go further

GDC needs a good cleanout and a new mayor.

We don’t need to look far to see the effect of voting for geriatrics.

The council needs strong leadership supported by motivated councillors who are prepared to ask the right questions and demand the right answers.

Keith has the wisdom from experience and the integrity to go with it.

Perhaps he should stand for mayor or perhaps Glenys Dickson should, one of the few councillors who has that courage of conviction.

I stood for mayor and remain grateful for the support that I received.

It wasn’t quite enough.

Back then I recognised a dire need for better leadership, better participation by councillors and more sensible outcomes.

It would appear that this need hasn’t changed.
