Consular Privileges and Immunities Act 1971

Preamble

An Act to make provision with respect to consular privileges and immunities, and to give effect to the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations

1 Short Title and commencement

This Act may be cited as the Consular Privileges and Immunities Act 1971.

This Act shall come into force on 1 April 1972.

2 Interpretation

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,—

Commonwealth country means a country that is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations
