Preamble

These regulations are made under section 102 of the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022 and section 437 of the Social Security Act 2018—

  1. on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
  1. on the recommendation of the Minister of Health.

Regulations
1 Title

These regulations are the Health Entitlement Cards Amendment Regulations 2024.

2 Commencement

These regulations come into force on 1 April 2024.

3 Principal regulations

These regulations amend the Health Entitlement Cards Regulations 1993.

4 Regulation 8 amended (Eligibility for community services cards)

In regulation 8(5)(a), replace $31,705 with $33,181.

In regulation 8(5)(b), replace $33,646 with $35,213.

In regulation 8(5)(c), replace $50,313 with $52,656.

In regulation 8(5A)(a), replace $33,713 with $35,283.

In regulation 8(5A)(b), replace $35,861 with $37,531.

In regulation 8(5A)(c), replace $53,821 with $56,327.

In regulation 8(6)(a), replace $61,455 with $64,316.

In regulation 8(6)(b), replace $75,645 with $79,167.

In regulation 8(6)(c), replace $87,269 with $91,332.

In regulation 8(6)(d), replace $98,687 with $103,281.

In regulation 8(6)(e), replace $111,255 for the first 6 people, plus a further $11,277 with $116,434 for the first 6 people, plus a further $11,802.
