Title

These regulations are the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act (Disciplinary Tribunal) Regulations 2008.

Commencement

These regulations come into force on 1 August 2008.

Interpretation

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,—Act means the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006case officer means an employee of the Ministry of Justice who provides administrative support services to the Disciplinary Tribunal under the direction of the chairperson or the Tribunalchairperson means the chairperson, deputy chairperson, or any other member of the Disciplinary Tribunal acting for the time being in the capacity of the chairpersonDisciplinary Tribunal or Tribunal means the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal established by section 226 of the Act and whose office is at the Ministry of JusticeMinistry means the Ministry of Justiceparty means a party to proceedings before the Disciplinary Tribunalperson charged means the person against whom a charge is laidproceedings means proceedings before the Disciplinary Tribunalto file, in relation to any document, means—ato file 8 copies of...
