Twelve students are heading off on a 21-day expedition in December, which will include a nine-day hike through the Himalayan mountains and three days’ community service, where they’ll help rebuild schools, and help with educating kids in local villages

They need to raise $10,000 per student.

Their fundraising efforts include an online raffle — tickets for which are $5 a pop — from which they’re hoping to raise $6k.

There are 30 prizes, ranging from a one-night stay and breakfast for two at Hilton Queenstown to reformer Pilates classes, one of which will be given out each day next month.
