QUEENSTOWN Ice Hockey Club’s hosting two free have-a-go sessions at the Queenstown Ice Arena next weekend, designed for players of all ages, and any skill level. Being held next Friday, May 3, from 6pm till 7.30pm, and next Sunday, May 5, from 3pm till 5pm, the sessions will help newcomers learn the basics of ice hockey with help from local coaches, and include off-ice activities, with prizes awarded at each session. All necessary gear will be provided, though participants are advised to wear ski or similarly-protective, puffy clothing
