May 27: Ali Harper and her band presents ‘‘A Natural Woman’’ — a show celebrating the music of Carole King and discovering the woman behind the music, 7.30pm, Regent Theatre.

May 28: Southern Consort of Voices presents ‘‘Seasons of Life’’, an autumn concert featuring a selection of unaccompanied choral works from the 16th century to today, with guest soprano Calla Knudson, 2pm, St Joseph’s Cathedral chapel.

May 28: City organist David Burchell and his pupils will play a concert celebrating the return of the renovated Iona Church organ, 3pm, Iona Church, Port Chalmers. Admission by donation to the Iona Church restoration fund.

May 30: Friends of First Church Music in May series, works by Bach, Beethoven and Boulanger performed by string performance students, 12.15pm, First Church.

May 31: Cantores Choir is holding a concert, 7pm, Dunedin Railway Station. Koha will be collected for the NZ Red Cross Cyclone Gabrielle relief fund.
