Dunstan’s new principal named

In a statement released earlier this month, Mr King said it was a privilege to be appointed principal

‘‘It is an honour to join such a vibrant community, and I am eager to work alongside each of you in our pursuit of excellence for all our students.’’

Mr King was originally from Darlington, in the North East of England, and had over 20 years of experience in different schools, countries and educational settings.

He has worked as deputy rector of Otago Boys’ High School since 2019.

‘‘I firmly believe that high-performing schools are not solely defined by academic success but by the holistic development of every student,’’ Mr King said.
