Event spotlighting Bob’s Cove

Running from noon till 4pm, ‘Protect Punatapu’ — Punatapu is the Maori name for Bobs’ Cove — is being put on by Nature’s Symphony in collaboration with the Bob’s Cove Punatapu Community Trust

It’s a fundraiser, too, for the trust’s coming Environment Court battle against plans for a luxury lodge development in the area.

And it’s also raising funds for the reforestation efforts of the Glenorchy Community Native Tree Nursery.

Nature’s Symphony, which has popped up in other locations, and creates a soundscape to deepen one’s experience of a place, includes local busking pianist, composer and music therapist Luke Gajdus and other musicians.
