Fire crews from Cromwell, Clyde and Alexandra attended the blaze

Cromwell Volunteer Fire Brigade fire chief Neil Gillespie said the alarm was raised about 8.50pm and crews from Alexandra and Clyde were also called in.

An additional fire appliance was brought from Clyde, and a tanker and command unit from Alexandra.

The laundromat was located on a lane in the industrial area and was surrounded by other businesses. Chemicals were stored at the site but did not cause the firefighters any...
