Comprising four of New Zealand’s leading country musicians – Eddie Low MNZM, Gray Bartlett MBE, Dennis Marsh MNZM and Brendan Dugan, the quartet are coming to a town near you to play all their best-known songs and the songs you love to sing along to

And there’s a bit of synchronicity at play as well – read on and you’ll see what we mean.

At a celebration of life gathering recently, one of the folks mentions they are looking for entertainers to perform at meetings of their over 50’s group, and asks if anyone has any ideas.

“Who have you had in the past?” one person asked. The reply included several names and ended with the comment “and one year we were lucky enough to be able to get Dennis Marsh.”

That sparked a flurry of comments from those present including: “Wow – I saw Dennis at The NZ Highwaymen show at Claudelands in May last year and I’ve got my tickets already for the June show this year”

“I remember when Dennis used to come to the Frankton markets – he was awesome!”

“I was at their May show – Eddie Low’s rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow was stunning. I disagree with that label they’ve given him as the voice in a million, that’s codswallop – there’s five million people in this country and no one can hold a candle to him – he’s the voice in five million!”

“I was there and just loved Brendan Dugan doing Do What You Do Do Well, it took me back to when he won New Faces in 1968, and those were happy times – and guess what (they said cheekily with a grin) he still do’s what he do do well – very well!”

“I saw him do a Johnny Cash tribute show and he nailed it!”

“I saw Eddie do a Roy Orbison tribute show called In Dreams and he was brilliant”.
