Chairman of the Dannevirke’s Chamber of Commerce, Bryce Galloway, said they reluctantly came to this decision on Wednesday after scrutinising the restrictions under the proposed traffic light system, this in line with other centres throughout New Zealand including Pahiatua and Auckland City.

With vaccination levels unlikely to reach 90 per cent in Dannevirke by December, the decision comes as a big disappointment.
