A letter is to be sent to the Chief Postmaster asking to establish a telephone bureau at Paengaroa Junction and to the Commissioner of Crown Lands asking to place all lands for future subdivision in the Paengaroa Village on the market

1911 — May 1. Both Paengaroa and Pongakawa Schools become fulltime schools.

1916 — May 1. A half time school opens on Whataroa Rd, Ngawaro. There are eight pupils. The school, however, closes on September 30.
