People First New Zealand: Meet monthly 1pm to 2.30pm on the last Saturday each month at Rotorua St John, 35 Pererika St. For people with learning and intellectual disabilities to learn about their rights and how to speak-up for what they want in their lives and community. Seniors Social Club: Meet twice a month. Held on second Saturday each month, 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Bainbridge Centre, 187 Old Taupō Rd. New members welcome 55 plus. Join in with Rumikub or Housie. Geyserland Country Music Club: Meets third Sunday of each month from 1pm to 4.30pm at the Rotorua Bowling Club, next to the Blue Baths in the Government Gardens, Hinemaru St. $5 door fee for non-members, children under 13 free. Rotorua Dahlia Club: Meeting at 1pm, Mokoia Community Hall, Vaughan Rd. Meetings run August to April excluding February, second Sunday of the month.Gardeners who gather to enjoy workshops, demonstrations, tuber sales and an annual show. Membership $5 per year.
