Players give their all to start season

Two debutantes, Chichi and Alexander Hayward made a good showing. There were three Haywards on the pitch

Owen Doherty elbowed his way into central midfield where he and Gordon Edwards both covered lots of ground in the middle. They unfortunately got a little close at one stage, with Edwards showing he can call as well in football as he does in cricket and copped Owen’s elbow to the eye.

Everyone worked hard especially target man James Hayward who chased everything up front and earned the player of the day award. Robin Waters showed why he is in the top 1% with a display of superior fitness and passing.

The final score was 2-2.
