Thousands in grants going unspent

Clutha District Council administers Creative New Zealand funding locally, and has $25,620 for the 2020-21 year.

Cr Ken Payne, of the Clutha Creative Communities Scheme, said the funding ensured local arts and culture thrived sustainably.

‘‘Provided people satisfy the criteria, there is no reason why good ideas shouldn’t get financial support,’’ he said.
